Hard-Photon emission in an experiment with electron-positron colliding beams
The radiative corrections to lowest order for the reaction e−+e+→μ−+μ+ are calculated, taking into account the contribution from high-energy photons emitted by the electrons. The correction to the total α2 cross-section is found to be ∼ 5%, for colliding particles of 250 MeV.
