A communication aid is described that enables up to four severely physically disabled people to write via a television screen. The equipment is designed for use in a classroom situation and allows a conversation to take place between these people under the control of the users themselves. The equipment can be operated by single, double or triple switch units of a variety of types and has been evaluated in a number of special schools.
