Several drugs of various pharmacological classes were tested for antimicrobial activity by the agar diffusion technique and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) estimation. Among them diclofenac sodium, haloperidol, meclastine fumarate, chlorpromazine, chlorimipramine and promethazine were the more active.
