Abstract

1. The use of the conveyor system for delivering the concrete mix to the blocks of the Inguri arch dam under construction made it possible to increase labor productivity and to reduce the cost of the works. 2. The combination of a conveyor system for transporting the concrete mix and a continuous concrete plant, accomplished for the first time at the Inguri hydrostation construction site, is a promising method for improving the technology of concreting when constructing structures with large volumes of concrete, for example, dams.
