Abstract

Ist \( E \) ein halbgeordneter Vektorraum, so heißt eine Folge \( \left\{f_{n}\right\} \) in \( E \) relativ gleichmäßig (r.g.) konvergent gegen \( f \in E \), falls es ein Element \( u \geqq 0 \) in \( E \) und eine Nullfolge positiver Zahlen \( \varepsilon_{n} \) gibt, so daß \( -\varepsilon_{n} u \leqq f_{n}-f \leqq \varepsilon_{n} u \) gilt für alle \( n \). Dieser Konvergenzbegriff steht in engem Zusammenhang mit einer natürlichen lokalkonvexen Topologie auf \( E \), die der Verf. r.g. Topologie nennt, und die mit der von \textit{I. Namioka} [Partially ordered linear topological spaces. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (1957; Zbl 0105.08901)] eingeführten order bound topology sowie mit der vom Ref. [Math. Ann. 135, 115--141 (1958; Zbl 0080.31501)] eingeführten Ordnungstopologie identisch ist. Für die r.g. Konvergenz werden eine Reihe interessanter Eigenschaften bewiesen, ebenso für die daraus hergeleitete *-Konvergenz [\textit{G. Birkhoff}, Lattice theory. Rev. ed. American Mathematical Society (AMS), Providence, RI (1948; Zbl 0033.10103)]. Insbesondere ist die r.g. Topologie die feinste lokalkonvexe Topologie auf \( E \), für die jede r.g. konvergente Folge konvergiert, und unter sehr allgemeinen Voraussetzungen ist in einem halbgeordneten lokalkonvexen Raum \( E \) die r.g. *-Konvergenz mit Mackeyscher *-Konvergenz identisch. Weitere Ergebnisse beziehen sich auf den Ordnungsdual und -bidual von \( E \).
