The authors examine the working characteristics of the centrifugal blower-dust collector by means of aerodynamic tests made using clean air. The effect was also studied of the working regime and structural parameters of the blower-dust collector on the separation efficiency. A sketch shows an improved blower-dust collector in which flat longitudinal ribs are placed at the exit of the rotor. Operational characteristics of the test blower-dust collector are shown. The technoeconomic indexes of centrifugal rotary dust traps are presented.
