A method for the approximate calculation of the parameters of self-oscillatory conditions in nuclear reactors with small power oscillation amplitudes is presented. An equation is derived, which, within the framework of the assumptions made, can be used fo r determining the frequencies of the reactor's possible self-oscillatory states as well as the amplitudes of reactivity and power fluctuations and the phase difference between these fluctuations.
