Abstract

Systems of nonlinear partial differential equations related to the Grassmann manifold SO(N)/SO(n)\(\otimes SO(N-n)\), which correspond to the Gauss-Codazzi equations for the corresponding imbeddings of n-dimensional Riemannian manifolds with flat normal bundle are studied.
