A class of analog-digital conversions that are invariant with respect to the energy characteristics of the processes being converted is shown. This means that the energy characteristics of a continuous process and of the pulsed process obtained from the continuous process by analog-to-digital conversion agree exactly, regardless of the relationship between the frequency spectrum of the process to be converted and the digitization frequency. The possibility of practical application of conversions of this type for measurement of the energy characteristics of wideband processes and wave fields by means of low-frequency instruments is shown.
