Bars are formed by some explosive process in the central regions of galaxies. The bar configuration is due to solely geometric factors, namely, the elongation of the central body, which is modeled by a cylinder, the intersection with it of the shock front, and the subsequent falling of gas onto the disk of the galaxy. The collision of the bar with the gas system of the disk, which can lead to the formation of spiral arms, is considered.
