Abstract

Effects of non-homogeneity in respect of rigidity have been computed in the case of a gravitating sphere with a rigid core. For an isotropic spherical shell the effect of variation of rigidity has been calculated when the shell is under pressure or when the shell is subjected to some steady temperature on its internal surface.
