Abstract

1. The feasibility was established of producing, on an industrial scale, chromium, molybdenum, and zirconium borides from oxides of these elements, boric acid, and lampblack. 2. The influence of charge composition, reaction temperature, and boat travel velocity in the furnace on the composition of the resulting chromium, molybdenum, and zirconium borides was established.
