At the current stage of development of the ferrous metallurgy sector, one of the most important reserves for increasing productivity is improving the repair and maintenance system. The yearly increase in the amount of equipment in use and the increasing complexity of this equipment make it necessary to augment present repair services. Given the shortage of the resources necessary to make effective repairs, such an increase in services is extremely difficult ot achieve.
