A lubricating cooling fluid, Akvol-10M was treated as specified and an aquaeous phase was recovered. The possibility of using this phase to prepare working solutions of other LCFs was investigated. Working solutions of Akvol-10M prepared with the aquaeous phase that had been recovered were tested by a specified method with favorable results. Thus, working solutions of LCF Akvol-10M that have been used in machining cast irons can be reused after partial treatment to prepare new working solutions, and thus offers a means for lowering costs.
