This method of obtaining powdered lithium stearate is a batch process, inefficient and time-consuming. In order to improve the technology of lithium soap dehydration, the integral equipment design section of the All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering (VHIIneftemash) at the All-Union Scientific-Research Design and Construction Institute of Petrochemical Processes (VNIIPKneftekhim), in cooperation with the Institute of Technical High-Temperature Physics, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, has made a detailed study of the technology of lithium stearate production. It was concluded that the spray method is a more efficient process for the dehydration of lithium stearate.
