The State Committee of the Soviet of Ministers of the USSR dealing with Construction Matters, the Central Council of the Trade Union for Construction Workers and Workers in the Structural Materials Industry, the Central Board of the Technical Standards Department of the Construction Industry, and the Architect's Union of the USSR held an All-Union Open Review-Competition for the highest quality construction work during the Tenth Five Year Plan. For their success in 1977, the Collective of the Dedovsk Ceramic Plant was awarded a Class-II Diploma and a money prize for its high-quality products, improvements to production processes, and for lowering the cost of its products.
