The method for evaluating the ecological danger of heat engineering objects in the building materials industry developed by the authors is described using a glass furnace as an example. The criterion of technoecological similarity as a function of the parameters of the source of thermal energy and the technical and ecological parameters of heat engineering objects is introduced. Calculations are performed for a conventional glass furnace and a method for evaluating its ecological efficiency is suggested.
