Our electrical resistivity measurements on single-crystal terbium oriented along the c-axis clearly show the spin-wave energy gap at 21.5°K. The total resistivity fits the equation ρ=ρ0+2.43×10−7T5+2.544×10−3T2 exp(21.5/T) µΘ-cm in the temperature region below 21.5°K.
