Abstract

A. Church in his justified criticism 1) of A. Koyre’s analysis of antinomies without using the logistic method, and A. N. Prior in his rigorous treatment 2) of the Epimenides paradox, concur in stressing that the point in this paradox is not the supposed emergence of contradictory conclusions but the apparent possibility of settling an epistemological question on logical grounds.
