
In chapter 6, I have shown that the problem of finitude plays a relevant part in shaping the specific social world of self-help groups. In the present chapter, I shall further examine the impact of this problem on the social relations of persons with HIV. I will now focus on the relationship between the HIV-positive and their everyday social environment.
