Marsilius of Inghen’s Life and Works

For a resume of Marsilius’ life, I am dependent almost entirely to the works of the great German scholar, Gerhard Ritter, who lived from 1888 to 1967 and wrote books on the history of Germany in the Middle Ages as well on Germany in modern times. The main purpose of this section is to fix the date of Marsilius’ works on logic.
