
The following chapter outlines the design of the empirical study that was conducted to answer the research questions and test the hypotheses. In doing so, the analyzed conflict cases and conflict events are first characterized (subchapter 7.1.). Hereafter, the sample of strategic communicators and media organization that the study examines are outlined and the selection criteria for relevant strategic communication and media texts are described (subchapter 7.2.).
