
Julie Thompson Klein is Professor of Humanities Emerita at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan (USA) and International Research Affiliate in the Transdisciplinary Lab at ETH-Zurich (Switzerland). Holder of a Ph.D. in English from the University of Oregon, she is past president of the Association for Integrative Studies (AIS) and former editor of the AIS journal, Issues in Integrative Studies. She is a prolific author and thought leader, having authored and co/edited numerous books and monographs on interdisciplinarity including The Oxford Handbook of Interdisciplinarity. She consults widely throughout North America and the world.
