Underlying the apparent behaviour of a group, there is a rich tapestry of needs, motivations, interconnecting relationships and feelings about the group itself. Every group is unique and evolves in its own special way — depending on the individual members, the situation, and the events which occur in the group itself. The study of these processes concerning the nature of groups, how they develop and how they work, is called group dynamics.
