Abstract

The Communications Research Laboratory (CRL), Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Japan has been conducting research and development on Inter-Vehicle Communications (IVC), Radio on Fiber (ROF), Road-Vehicle Communications (RVC), and software radio technologies for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) utilizing microwave and millimeter wave. In this chapter, research and development activities for these technologies at CRL are presented.
