Abstract

AbstractThis paper commences with an outline description of the development of the Ada programming language and its position in the overall language scene. The body of the paper is an informal description of the main features of the final language as revised after the Test and Evaluation phase of the DoD project. Comparison with the preliminary version is made where appropriate.
