
The dielectric constant and conductivity of VO2 single crystals are measured in the frequency range 30 to 105 Hz and in the temperature range 77 to 250 K. Measurements are also made at 300 K in the frequency range 15 × 103 to 2 × 106 Hz. It is shown that the dielectric behaviour over these ranges is described by a Debye-type relaxation process with a distribution of relaxation times. The estimated value of the static dielectric constant of about 100 is found to show a weak dependence on temperature. Die Dielektrizitatskonstante und die Leitfahigkeit von VO2-Einkristallen werden zwischen 77 und 250 K im Frequenzbereich von 30 bis 105 Hz gemessen. Auserdem werden Messungen bei 300 K im Frequenzbereich von 15 × 103 bis 2 × 106 Hz durchgefuhrt. Es wird gezeigt, das das dielektrische Verhalten in diesem Bereich durch einen Debye-Relaxationsprozes mit einer Verteilung der Relaxationszeiten beschrieben wird. Es wird gefunden, das der berechnete Wert der statischen Dielektrizitatskonstante von etwa 100 eine schwache Temperaturabhangigkeit aufweist.
