A review is given of some of the theoretical ideas about the NN-interaction. Topics covered are: a discussion of the Bonn (1986), Paris (1980), and the Nijmegen (1978) potentials, a new phase shift analysis of the pp-data giving the preliminary value for the ppπ0 coupling constant g 0 2 /4π = 13.15 ± 0.2, and a discussion of the charge symmetry and charge independence of the NN-scattering lengths.
