
AbstractSince metal additive manufacturing, and in particular, the laser powder bed fusion process entered serial production in various highly demanding industries (such as aviation, automotive, medical, and oil & gas), the priority research area of many projects and industrial roadmaps has been to find innovative and efficient solutions to current technology challenges, namely material processability, productivity, and repeatability.
