AbstractEfforts to focus philanthropic resources on women's special needs and to empower women of all socioeconomic and multicultural groups as philanthropists have created a rapidly growing complex of women's foundations and federations committed to funding, educating, training, and advocating to meet the needs of women donors, philanthropists, and grant recipients.
