AbstractThis study examined the moderating role of developmental stage (adolescence vs. emerging adulthood) in the association between peer attachment and two facets of grit in a sample of 964 participants. The results revealed that peer attachment contributes more to consistency of interests in adolescence and to perseverance of effort in emerging adulthood.
