An error in Watson's Bessel Functions is corrected. It concerns a certain Fourier–Bessel series, an infinite series in which the terms involve the zeros of a Bessel function. Several related examples are discussed, and a connection with finite‐part integrals is noted.
Bessel functions, special functions, Fourier coefficients, Fourier series of functions with special properties, special Fourier series, Fourier-Bessel series, Bessel and Airy functions, cylinder functions, \({}_0F_1\), finite-part integrals

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 7 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
