
AbstractOn a state space of a right process a facial topology depending upon some RAY compactification is introduced. With respect to this facial topology the right process is shown to exhibit a nice path behaviour. Furthermore, conditions are given which permit a local characterization of excessive functions with respect to the facial topology. This result gives a partial answer to an open question within the potential theory of H‐cones.
