
AbstractThis article examines the kinds of knowledge and qualifications as well as special skills that a family mediator should possess in order to arrive at suitable divorce settlements that take the needs of the children and the life‐styles of the parents into account. The authors also identify the professions that provide the requisite knowledge and skills.
