AbstractIm atmosphärischen elektrischen Feld der Erde werden Luftionen gebildet, sie sind Bestandteil der Umwelt. Der Mensch ist ihnen ausgesetzt und sein Allgemeinbefinden wird von ihnen beeinflußt. Der Beitrag beschreibt die elektrostatischen Eigenschaften der Raumluft und ihre Auswirkungen auf den Menschen sowie die Funktionsweisen von Luftionisatoren.
