</script>This basic textbook and introduction to electronystagmography (ENG) is organized with a foreword by Dr Claus-F. Claussen, a preface, and an introduction. The chapters thereafter discuss the following topics: anatomy and physiology, medical history and physical examination, the fundamentals of ENG, the ENG procedure, evaluation of the ENG, the "butterfly chart" for recording and analysis of the caloric responses, case studies, and quizzes. This small introductory textbook was field tested with our residents and their response was positive. It is not an exhaustive textbook, but it is an excellent introductory textbook. Combined with other available textbooks, it makes a nice programmed-learning package.
