ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE APPROVAL OF THE PROGRAM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SELF-DEFENCE IN MILITARY SERVANTS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE AGAINST THE NEGATIVE INFLUENCE OF MEDIA-PERCEPTIVE COMMUNICATION

Abstract

Introduction. Under the conditions of constant and violent overfilling of the information space, the use of manipulative influence technologies, the use of the information environment in the Russian-Ukrainian war, and as a result of the direction of negative media perceptual influence specifically on the personnel of the troops (forces), servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine need to acquire new personal qualities and attributes, skills and competencies to be able to counteract such pathogenic influences. We decided to prepare servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to constructively overcome the consequences of negative media-perceptive influence and psychological discomfort due to the conscious focus of psychological self-defense on the identified sources of negative influence of media-perceptive communication with the help of the program for the development of psychological self-defense against the negative influence of media-perceptive communication "The word is also a weapon!". The objectives of this program are to develop cognitive-reflexive, emotional-perceptive and behavioral-regulatory components of psychological self-defense against the negative impact of media-perceptive communication. Since information becomes an internal asset of a person only when it is tested and worked out in real situations, albeit educational ones, that is why our program involves the use of active and interactive learning methods, while their choice is motivated by the purpose and tasks of the program, the specifics and needs of our audience. The proposed program is a comprehensive tool for the development of psychological self-defense against the negative impact of media-perceptive communication, it can be used in full or partially for the development of its individual components. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to highlight the purpose, tasks, structure and results of the approval and verification of the program for the development of psychological self-defense among servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the negative impact of media perceptive communication "The word is also a weapon!". Methods. To solve the tasks set in the work, theoretical research methods were used: analysis of the research problem, synthesis, comparison, generalization; statistical: descriptive statistics, statistical criteria according to research tasks: Kolmogorov-Smirnov λ-criterion, Mann-Whitney U-criterion. Originality. The article presents data on the purpose, tasks, structure and results of the approbation of the program for the development of psychological self-defense among servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the negative impact of media perceptive communication "The word is also a weapon!". The developed and verified program contributed to the development of psychological self-defense against the negative impact of communication in each training participant - the ability of a person to control and protect his psychological space, to ensure his own mental health, psychological well-being, which is based on the internalized experience of voluntary and involuntary pragmatic thoughts, dispositions, actions as an optimal response to the actual and potentially negative impact of media-perceptive communication. The obtained statistically significant changes, which were demonstrated by the servicemen of the experimental group compared to the lack of significant progress in the control group, confirm the effectiveness of the proposed program and demonstrate the improvement of the indicators of the studied servicemen who were subjected to formative influence. The implementation of the program is possible in points of permanent deployment, areas of restoration of military capability, educational institutions, centers and field conditions. The development program can be used by officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of all levels as a tool to ensure high-quality internal communication work with personnel and, given the small time budget, it is advisable to implement it in the psychological training program at the level of general basic or special psychological training. Conclusion. Under the conditions of constant and violent overfilling of the information space, the use of manipulative influence technologies, the use of the information environment in the Russian-Ukrainian war, and as a result of the direction of the negative impact of media perceptual influence specifically on the personnel of the troops (forces), servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine need to acquire new personal qualities and properties, competences and abilities to counteract such pathogenic influences. Such a task can be implemented through the development of psychological self-defense of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the negative impact of media-perceptive communication and its components. The implementation of the cognitive-reflexive component occurs through the accumulation of information thanks to which servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine begin to realize the direction of the negative influence of media-perceptive communication on them as the primary object of such influence, which contributes to the growth of professional and personal opportunities, reducing the level of suggestibility (suggestiveness). Because awareness involves not only the accumulation of information about psychological self-defense against the negative impact of communication, but also stimulates the development of reflexive mechanisms, critical and analytical thinking. The emotional-perceptive component allows you to master the means of emotional self-regulation, control emotional excitability and irritability, develop emotional intelligence in the context of psycho-emotional influences of media-perceptive communication and skillfully use it for psychological self-defense against destructive informational influences, and also stimulates the formation of perceptual experience of the individual, internal representations, which involve the perception of "media reality", the feelings and thoughts of the authors of media products, expressed in an audiovisual and spatio-temporal image. The development of the behavioral-regulatory component allows you to develop your own algorithm of self-regulatory actions to reduce or neutralize the negative impact of media-perceptive communication, taking into account the inherent style of mental protection, and also develops the skills of checking content, forming your own safe list of information sources. The developed and tested program for the development of psychological self-defense of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the negative influence of media perceptive communication "The word is also a weapon!" confirmed its effectiveness, as statistically significant changes were obtained, which were demonstrated by EG servicemen compared to the lack of significant progress in CG servicemen. The analysis of empirical data indicates statistically significant positive changes in the Mann-Whitney U-criterion for indicators of psychological self-defense of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the negative impact of media-perceptive communication and additional indicators in EG: analytical thinking (Uemp = 324, p ≤ 0.05), suggestibility ( suggestions) (Uemp = 290, p ≤ 0.05), emotional irritability (Uemp = 200, p ≤ 0.01), emotional excitability (balance) (Uemp = 101, p ≤ 0.01), perception of information (Uemp = 195, p ≤ 0.01), self-regulation of behavior (Uemp = 241, p ≤ 0.01), knowledge (Uemp = 100, p ≤ 0.01), skills (Uemp = 236, p ≤ 0.01), skills (Uemp = 341, p ≤ 0.05), information threats of the military environment (Uemp = 155, p ≤ 0.01). The general indicator of the development of psychological self-defense of military personnel against the negative impact of media-perceptive communication in EG increased by 32%, according to the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-criterion, such changes can be considered statistically significant at the level of reliability p≤0.05 (Uemp=321.5, p≤ 0.05), which is a positive result of the implementation of our development program and the implementation of experimental research tasks.
