STUDY OF PERSONAL STUDENT PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Introduction. Modern renewal of all spheres of society requires quality new education that would meet international standards. Primary school, which is the next stage after the preschool period of childhood, provides further development of the child's personality, his mental, social and physical development. A modern school should focus on equipping students with a system of knowledge, on their personal development. The renewal of the Ukrainian school requires the actualization of the inner potential of students in the process of those activities that naturally ensure the self-development of the child's personality. Purpose ‒ to investigate the peculiarities of the development of the personality of a junior schoolchild in an educational institution. Methods. Theoretical ‒ analysis, comparison, generalization, systematization of theoretical data to clarify the essence of the basic concepts of the problem; empirical ‒ observational experiment, observation, conversation, survey, psychodiagnostic techniques to study the peculiarities of the development of junior high school. Originality. The algorithm of research of indicators of development of the personality of the younger schoolboy is offered in the article. The results of the study can be used in the work of teachers, practical psychologists, educators of extended day groups, in the training and retraining of educators. Conclusion. An empirical study of the development of junior high school students, such indicators of his personality development as productivity and stability of attention, mental development, motivation to learn, creativity and anxiety confirmed the need for special psycho-correctional work with this age group. The next stage of research on this issue is to study other indicators of personality development of young students and their derminants, finding effective technologies, methods that would promote personal development, developing a series of psychological games that can be used in various school and extracurricular activities. The study found that a feature of the development of junior high school students is the compliance of basic indicators with low and medium levels.

У статті проаналізовані основні закономірності психічного розвитку особистості молодшого школяра. Відображено результати емпіричного дослідження розвитку особистості молодшого школяра. Здійснено діагностику продуктивності і стійкості уваги, розумового розвитку, мотивації до навчання, креативності та рівня тривожності молодших школярів.
