This paper aims to identify effective methods and means for training of students of technological professions to entrepreneurial activity on the basis of pre-incubation, the development of proposals for their establishment in the universities of the country. The study is conducted from the standpoint of the formation of small research and technology businesses in the universities of our country, therefore, it is focused mainly on the use of the experience of European economic and educational systems.The article discusses the programs and structures of pre-incubation as a means to support the creation of small companies and entrepreneurial training of students. Functions and organizational aspects of pre-incubation which are used abroad, particularly in EU countries, are considered. It is proved that pre-incubation is an effective means to support the development of small business and entrepreneurial students training, especially for countries that are at the stage of forming market-oriented socio-economic systems. The use of programs and structures of pre-incubation for universities in Ukraine is offered. It is noted that the problem of the formation of small companies and entrepreneurial training of students should have a comprehensive solution. In particular, its solution should provide training programs, mentoring and learning, engaging students to scientific and technological developments in university research groups, creating programs and structures of pre-incubation.

У статті розглянуто програми та структури пре-інкубації як засоби підтримки створення малих фірм і підприємницької підготовки студентів. Розглянуто функції та організаційні аспекти пре-інкубації, що використовуються за кордоном, зокрема у країнах Євросоюзу. Доведено, що пре-інкубація є ефективним засобом для підтримки розвитку малого бізнесу та підприємницької підготовки студентів, особливо для країн, які перебувають на стадії формування ринкових соціально-економічних систем. Запропоновано використання програм і структур пре-інкубації для університетів України. При цьому зазначено, що проблема формування малих фірм і підприємницької підготовки студентів повинна мати комплексне рішення. Зокрема, її вирішення має передбачати програми навчання, наставництва та учіння, залучення студентів до науково-технологічних розробок у дослідницьких групах університету, створення програм і структур пре-інкубації.
