The process of the integration of Ukraine into the European society determines the need to prepare students of Ukrainian universities for the processes of intercultural communication. The section of the monograph presents a comparative analysis of intercultural communication as a scientific definition and educational discipline in the works of foreign and Ukrainian scientists. Based on this analysis, the author determines the conditions for improving the effectiveness of socio-pedagogical provison of intercultural communication of Ukrainian and foreign students. These conditions include: linguistic and professional environment of social interaction; ensuring the activity of the subjects of social interaction with a scientific and methodological basis and enriching the organizational and activity toolkit of socio-pedagogical support for intercultural communication. The author analyzes the current state of the formation of the linguistic and professional environment in Ukraine with the examples of the creation of joint international educational projects, communication hubs, trainings and language and local studies seminars, which contribute to the creation of the necessary social and psychological climate to ensure the process of intercultural communication. The activities of such international organizations as: British Council, American Council, “Window to Europe”, “Confucius Institute”, “ENGin” and others are cited as illustrations of this work. Along with the work of international organizations, with the aim of organizing a space for student relations, regional universities of Ukraine are involved in the formation of intercultural communication of Ukrainian students. The work on the development of Intercultural Communication of Ukrainian and foreign students can be exemplified with the festival of European culture “European vector: integration through communication”, the projects of “Jean Monnet Module Erasmus +” , the introduction of the courses “Intercultural communication studies”, “Introduction to the theory of intercultural communication” and “Fundamentals of interactive communication”, the conference “Professionalism of the Teacher under European Digital Innovations”, the summer school for future teachers and other intercultural communication events. On the basis of the analysis of intercultural communication experience of Ukrainian students, the author affirms the development of their communicative mobility as a component of personal and professional communicative competence. Ukrainian and foreign students demonstrate the ability for mutual communication based on a high level of respect and mutual assistance, quick response in a non-standard problem situation of personal and professional communication and interest in gaining knowledge about the laws of social, cultural and economic development of other countries.

Процес інтеграції України в Європейське суспільство обумовлює необхідність підготовки студентів українських ВНЗ до процесів міжкультурної комунікації. У розділі монографії подається порівняльний аналіз міжкультурної комунікації як наукової дефініції та навчальної дисципліни в роботах закордонних та українських учених. На основі цього аналізу авторка визначає умови підвищення ефективності соціально-педагогічного забезпечення міжкультурної комунікації українських й іноземних студентів. Ці умови включають: лінгвопрофесійне середовище соціальної взаємодії; забезпечення активності суб’єктів соціальної взаємодії науково-методичним підґрунтям та збагачення організаційно-діяльнісного інструментарію соціально-педагогічного забезпечення міжкультурної комунікації. Авторка аналізує сучасний стан сформованості лінгвопрофесійного середовища в Україні прикладами створення спільних міжнародних освітніх проектів, комунікаційних хабів, тренінгів та лінгвокраїнознавчих семінарів, які сприяють створенню необхідного соціально-психологічного клімату для забезпечення процесу міжкультурної комунікації. Поряд із роботою міжнародних організацій, з метою організації простору для взаємин студентів, регіональні університети України долучаються до формування міжкультурної комунікації українських студентів. Прикладом цієї роботи наводиться фестиваль Європейської культури «European vector: integration through communication», проєкти «Jean Monnet Module Erasmus +», запровадження курсів «Intercultural communication studies», «Вступ в теорію міжкультурної комунікації» та «Основи інтерактивної комунікації», проведення конференції «Professionalism of the Teacher under European Digital Innovations», літньої школи для майбутніх вчителів та інших міжкультурних комунікативних заходів. Аналіз досвіду міжкультурної комунікації учасників наведених вище заходів дозволяє стверджувати розвиток комунікативної мобільності українських студентів як складової особистості і професійної комунікативної компетентності. Українські та іноземні студенти демонструють здатність до взаємної комунікації, основаної на високому рівні поваги та взаємодопомоги, швидкого реагування в нестандартній проблемній ситуації особистого та професійного спілкування та зацікавленості в отриманні знань про закони соціального, культурного та економічного розвитку інших країн.
