Modifikasi Zeolit Alam dengan TiO2 sebagai Adsorben Asam Humat

Abstract

Zeolit yang digunakan berasal dari alam Kabupaten Solok Sumatera Barat dikompositkan dengan TiO2 dengan metoda sol gel. Jenis zeolit alam ditentukan dengan cara dikarakterisasi dengan X-Ray Flourescence (XRF), berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi XRF menunjukkan bahwa zeolit alam termasuk jenis klinoptilolit. Zeolit alam dan Zeolit/TiO2 dikarakterisasi dengan Analisis Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) melihat ikatan kerangka penyusun zeolit. Hasil karaterisasi X-Ray Difraction (XRD) menunjukkan fasa yang terbentuk adalah fasa klinoptilolit, mordenit dan kuarsa. Morfologi permukaan dianalisis menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Zeolit alam dan Zeolit/TiO2 digunakan sebagai adsorben asam humat. Zeolit/TiO2 kemampuan adsorpsi lebih tinggi dibandingkan zeolit alam saja. Kata kunci : Zeolit/TiO2, adsorpsi, asam humat, sol-gel
