The work is based on studying the Vlach migrations in today's territory of Croatia. To consider the causes of the vlach's colonization, it is necessary to become acquainted with their moral principles, customs, integration and disintegration processes and their cultural and ethnosocial values. Thanks to Byzantine and Medieval sources, the economic activity and the structure of the Vlach's society are explained. In the period from the XIV. to XVII. century migrations take place on three occasions under different colonizers.
