Abstract

Литературная жизнь ВКЛ XVII–XVIII в. была тесно связана с литературной жизнью Речи Посполитой вообще, и являлась его слагаемым. Для письменности этой поры характерны разные идейные и стилевые тенденции, разные «штили» - высокий, который соответствовал востребованиям элиты общества, средний с ориентацией на вкусы средней и мелкой шляхты, горожан, и низкий - народный. Между этими тремя слоями шло взаимное проникновение художественных форм. Одними из наиболее значительных представителей тогдашней литературы являлись С. Полоцкий и Я. Белобоцкий. Ценными источниками культуры, быта и политической жизни ВКЛ стали городские хроники. На репертуар книжной продукции повлияло распространение эпохи Просвещения. Всего за период с 1750 по 1795 гг. было издано более 600 названий научных книг. В настоящее время известны 14 Служебников белорусской печати, которые были изданы в период времени с 1583 г. по 1773 г.
