Abstract

= Types of contests and festival concerts are presented in the article as well as features of preparing for concert performances on the basis of leading ideas of musical and pedagogical designs. As an example the activity experience of cymbalist ensemble “Guki sontsa”, which functions at Vitebsk Region Children and Youth Hall, is analyzed. Results of the participation in contests and festivals in percentage of the title of 1st Degree Laureate of the International Festival to the total number of contest and festival performances as an objective result of designing this type of creative activity are considered. The authors single out and analyze the specificity of the educational process at Vitebsk Region Children and Youth Hall and at Children’s School of Arts in the context of training for performing activities; they describe musical and pedagogical designing of concert activities as the application of traditional and innovative education methods, forms and ways of training which are to be integrated into one interconnected and interacting form.
