Abstract

For the western low mountains of the Southern Urals the age structure of Picea obavata and Abies sibirica cenopopulations in short-term secondary birch forests (5-100 years old) was analyzed. We had revealed the serious violation of age structure dark-coniferous species cenopopulations: on the first stages of the forest restoration natural regeneration of Picea obavata and Abies sibirica is pressed, only prior generations of Picea obavata and Abies sibirica are participating in forest restoration; at more late stages of forest restoration the ability of dark coniferous species new generation forming is restoring, but failure in restoration process is being saved.
