Abstract

The article is devoted to experimental substantiation of efficiency of realization of the author's course «Managing stress in sports», which includes training «Stress resistance» in the framework of the variable part of the educational program among the students of the University of physical culture, studying on the specialty «Psychology and pedagogy». The main aim of this course is formation of the competence of the stress resistance among the future teachers-psychologists. To test the effectiveness of the proposed course the psychological-pedagogical testing had been used, the results of which was determined by the dynamics of the psychological and physiological indicators characterizing stress: the personal and situational anxiety, aggression, rigidity, frustration, the level of nervous-mental stress, emotional state, adaptive capacity, severity of tone of sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Because of the experiment a positive dynamics in all investigated parameters except the frustration has been revealed.
