Роль аутентичных материалов при обучении профессиональному англоязычному переводу

Abstract

The article touches upon the issue of teaching professional English / Russian translation to law students of non-linguistic Universities. The brief analysis of authentic materials, the principle of their selection and their role in teaching English for special purposes is given here. Analysis of some English language terminology and phrases used in the process of professional communication is made. The importance of students‘ interdisciplinary results and achievements in the process of learning English at non-linguistic Universities is emphasized. Using educational authentic materials content as the example, possibilities of increasing the teaching process’ quality and efficiency, and solutions of linguodidactic, linguistic and methodological tasks are demonstrated in this paper.

В статье затрагивается вопрос обучения профессиональному англоязычному или русскоязычному переводу студентов юридических факультетов неязыковых вузов. Проведен краткий анализ аутентичных материалов, принцип их отбора и их роль при обучении английскому языку для специальных целей. Рассмотрены некоторые употребляемые в процессе профессиональной коммуникации англоязычные терминологические словосочетания. Акцентируется актуальность достижения студентами метапредметных результатов в процессе изучения английского языка в неязыковом вузе. На примере содержания используемых учебных аутентичных материалов показаны возможности повышения качества и эффективности процесса обучения англоязычному переводу в неязыковом вузе и решения лингвометодических и лингводидактических задач.
