Abstract

The results of study of natural fir reproduction under the shelter of fir and birch stands of different normality are given. The dependence of undergrowth quality on stand composition and leaf canopy normality is determined The stand normality has a profound effect on the viability of fir undergrowth. We can control the undergrowth quality by decreasing the stand normality to a certain level.
