Abstract

The problem of the evaluation of academic staff is always supervised by the administration of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES of Ukraine). The stumbling block to solving this problem was to find a simple and accessible method that would allow to formalize the humanitarian nature of the scientific and pedagogical activity. Methods of determining the ranking of subjects of such activity on a fundamentally new basis was developed and implemented in NULES of Ukraine. The article also examines other aspects of the management of the quality of education, in particular, the role of the ranking in the harmonization of state educational standards with international requirements.
