Abstract

The article is an announcement of the discussed concepts of psycho-pedagogical monitoring the effectiveness of the subject "Music" for secondary schools educational programs. The effectiveness of such programs, according to the author, can be measured by the degree realisation of learning capacity to the skills of music as "the language and speech" in their ethno-cultural and stylistic diversity. Music skills as language and speech involves hearing intoning meaning of music, experience and empathy to him, understanding of cultural meanings and translation of personal meanings in the performing experience with the help of available funds for the child art and simple music instruments. Monitoring Concept proposes to take into account both the substantive competence (internal and external components of musicality and individual musical abilities) and the meta-substan-tive competences: the ability to generalize to sensory and aesthetic grounds, art and general creativity, motivation to employment by art and knowledge in general, the intellectual perception models of time and energy moving in it all the components of personal resources that allow the child to keep the interest in knowing new, balance and the pursuit of development and self-development in harmony with the world of people, cultures and nature.
